Sending to Contact Lists
Send an email campaign to all subscribed contacts in a list.
Once you have a contact list with contacts, you can send an email to the entire list directly from the Audiences page. This is a one-off bulk send. For scheduling, A/B testing, and aggregate result tracking, use broadcasts instead.
Send to a list
- Go to Audiences in the sidebar.
- Select the list you want to send to.
- Click Send to List.
- Fill in the send details:
- Sender -- choose an active sender address.
- Subject -- the email subject line.
- HTML body -- the email content in HTML (optional).
- Plain text -- a plain text version for clients that do not render HTML (optional).
- Tags -- optional labels attached to each resulting email.
- Click Send.
Taifa Mail sends one email per contact in the list. The list must contain at least one contact, and the sender address must belong to your workspace and be active.
Template variables
The subject, HTML body, and plain text fields support per-contact placeholders, replaced for each recipient:
{{email}}-- the contact's email address.{{name}}-- the contact's name (blank if not set).{{any_key}}-- any key from the contact's metadata.
Any placeholder with no matching value is removed from the message.
Send results
After the send is queued you will see a summary:
- Queued -- emails accepted into the send pipeline.
- Skipped -- contacts that failed with an unexpected error.
- Errors -- per-contact failure messages, up to 50.
Suppressed addresses and other deliverability rules are applied inside the send pipeline as each email is processed, not at the moment you trigger the send.
Sending to purchased or scraped email lists violates the Taifa Mail acceptable use policy and will result in account suspension. Only send to contacts who have opted in to receive your emails.
